New Ferrari Team Principal

Fred Vasseur is a motor racing veteran with over 25 years experience in various racing categories, including junior formulas and Formula 1. He has a reputation for developing top driver talent, having led teams to victory in the GP2 series with drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton. Vasseur has also served as CEO and Team Principal of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team and the Renault F1 Team. Now, he has been appointed as Team Principal and General Manager of Scuderia Ferrari, where he will be tasked with trying to restore the team to its winning ways.

Commenting on the appointment, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna said: “We are delighted to welcome Fred Vasseur to Ferrari as our Team Principal.
